StudyVerse ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using StudyVerse you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email, username, school, grade level and avatar you provide at sign-up.
- Learning data — quiz attempts, mistakes, AI chat sessions, uploaded study files, XP and streak history.
- Device data — browser type, IP address and basic analytics needed to keep the service running.
2. How we use it
- To run StudyVerse — power your AI Tutor, generate content, track XP and rank.
- To personalise your Academic Twin and surface weak topics.
- To show you on your school leaderboard with the limited fields stored on the public leaderboard table.
- To send essential service emails. Marketing emails only with your consent.
3. What we never do
- We never sell personal data to third parties.
- We never use your private chats or uploaded files to train external models.
- We never show your private answers to other students.
4. Sharing
We share data only with infrastructure providers strictly needed to run the platform (hosting, database, AI inference). Each provider is bound by data-processing agreements.
5. Parent access
If you link a parent account via your username, the parent can see progress summaries — XP, weak topics, exam readiness — but never your AI chat content.
6. Children
StudyVerse is intended for school students. Users under 13 should use StudyVerse with parental supervision and consent.
7. Your rights
You can export or delete your account anytime by emailing hello@studyverse.app.
